SIDNEY, OHIO All proceeds from our annual 5K Scholarship Run/Walk benefit the Scholarship Fund.Each year the Scholarship Fund awards two scholarships to the top high school female and male track or cross country athlete from within the Sidney/Shelby County School systems. Criteria includes need, athletic performance, community involvement and economic performance (contact the race director for further details).More than $10,000 has been awarded since the race was conceived.Additionally, as part of
the race, a Team Trophy is presented to the winning group of students
representing various Sidney/Shelby County Schools. Team ranking is
based on a combination of their individual efforts in the race.
